With the cold weather taking hold, it’s important to spend more time indoors and provide a warm home for your dog. This takes priority, but there are other issues to be dealt with, such as maintining the dog’s emotional wellbeing and providing a rewarding and comforting environment for the dog that goes beyond the basics of care. There are multitudes of ways to better understand how dogs are feeling, and so we start by looking at their expression through body language and other means.
When we truly observe the dog as a fully loved companion, there are bound to be greater questions regarding their overall health. That’s why it’s best to know how to decipher emotions since words won’t suffice. Dogs may somewhat understand commands and what we say to them, but really it’s key to looking deeper into other aspects of communicating.
